En artículos anteriores he mencionado esta herramienta, es momento de entrar a detalle para que conozcas su uso y la puedas aplicar para planear, ejecutar y dar seguimiento.

Este diagrama fue publicado en 1910 por Henry Gantt y el objetivo de esta herramienta es ayudarte a planear proyectos de más de 25 actividades de una manera ordenada y visual, además nos ayuda a enlazar las actividades que dependen unas de otras.

En lo personal me gusta trabajarlo en Excel, para cada proyecto o mini proyecto dentro de la empresa acudimos a un diagrama de Gantt que nos permita darle seguimiento puntal a lo establecido y poder delegar las actividades. Sin embargo hoy en día existen diversas plataformas web y amplia acciones que te pueden ayudar a hacerlo.

En el siguiente link podrás descargar de manera gratuita un Excel para llevar a cabo tu planeación a través del diagrama de Gantt, una vez que lo descargues y lo abras, sigue las indicaciones. Ejemplo Gantt

  1. Establece un objetivo: El plan de trabajo que a continuación vas a desarrollar tiene un objetivo, sino no estarías haciéndolo o leyendo este articulo, por lo que primero deberás aterrizar dicho objetivo y cada que tengas una duda, acude a el.
  2. Clasifica: Te recomiendo que clasifiques las actividades según su giro, puede ser Administración, Operaciones o Comercialización o más detallada como programación, diseño, entre otras.
  3. Actividades: Redacta todas las actividades que debes realizar, te recomiendo que visualices tu objetivo y desgloses todo lo que debes lograr para llegar a el, de esta manera tendrás un panorama más amplio.
  4. Responsable: Toda acción tiene un responsable, puedes ser tu, puede ser un colaborador o incluso un socio del proyecto, pero toda actividad debe tener. Un responsable que la haga realidad.
  5. Recursos: Aquí se colocan presupuestos de compra o cotizaciones según sea el caso, esto te ayuda a valuar el total del proyecto y ver de manera individual cada actividad. Este es un tema sensible, ya que muchas veces no valuamos correctamente nuestro proyecto y a la mitad de la ejecución del plan nos quedamos sin dinero y ni pudimos salir al mercado, eso es muy delicado. Por lo mismo esta herramienta es muy útil también para costear todo el proyecto y administrar correctamente los recursos.
  6. Fecha inicial y fecha limite: El diagrama de Gantt se extiende de manera vertical y horizontal, donde las actividades son las que se extienden de manera vertical y las fechas de arranque y cumplimiento se extienden de manera horizontal. El Excel que te proporcione podrás ver las fechas por semanas, sin embargo tu podrás ampliarlo o reducirlo, es decir puedes modificarlo para verlo día por día o mes por mes.  Para usar la fecha deberás rellenar con algún color la actividad en la fecha de inicio y hasta la fecha final esto te marca el tiempo en lo que deberás iniciar y terminar la actividad.
  7. Status: El status es la medida en la que llevaremos el avance de cada actividad, con esto podemos ir identificando cual lleva un avance, cual no ha tenido avance y cual ya quedo terminada. Este se debe expresar en porcentaje.

Si te decides a usar el Excel que te di o cualquier herramienta online debes saber que la base es alimentarlo, es decir llenarlo, actualizarlo y sobre todo dar seguimiento.

El seguimiento es la base, una vez que lo hayas llenado, discutido con tu equipo de tu empresa o de tu proyecto de emprendimiento y ya que hayas pactado fechas de entrega, deberás darle seguimiento a todo eso, ver en que parte tu equipo flaquea y apoyarlos para hacer realidad el objetivo.
